This Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) is for the Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions directorate (AFRL/RW) in support of Air Superiority Technolgoy.

Operations Security (OPSEC): General OPSEC procedures, policies and awareness will be required in an effort to reduce program vulnerability from successful adversary collection and exploitation of critical information. OPSEC will be applied throught the lifecycle of any potential contract.

ITAR: International traffic in Arms Regulations and Public Law 98-94 (export control) will apply.

AMENDMENT : The purpose of this amendment is to provide administrative updates.

Background
This Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) is for the Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions directorate (AFRL/RW) in support of Air Superiority Technology. The BAA is intended to cover Applied Research, Advanced Technology Development and Advanced Component Development & Prototypes. It does NOT cover Basic Research.

Work Details
The work details include the requirement for Operations Security (OPSEC) procedures, policies, and awareness to reduce program vulnerability from adversary collection and exploitation of critical information. ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and Public Law 98-94 (export control) will apply.

The BAA is set up in two parts: Basic Open BAA, where white papers may be submitted at any time during the open period, and CALL BAA, where proposal CALL announcements may be issued to request proposals for specific research areas. White papers may be submitted at any time during the open period to the contracting office.

Period of Performance
The BAA will remain open through 31 October 2024 or until amended or superseded. It may be reissued and/or amended periodically as needed. The cumulative amount for awards issued under this BAA is anticipated not to exceed $750,000,000.
