Background
The Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC) is seeking a follow-on requirement to the AFTAC Nuclear Data Evaluation Service (NDES) III Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The scope of this contract is to perform Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Research and Development (R&D) tasks for 24 ANS/ANN and 21st SURS/SUD, providing technical services, software/tool maintenance and development, testing, data ingestion, and documentation as specified in the task order. This effort will provide technical services and support in developing and maintaining the NDES suite of software/hardware, tools, databases, and modernization efforts to continue to support the NDES suite during the life of the contract.

Work Details
The tasks under this contract include operations & maintenance (O&M) tasks, research and development (R&D) tasks, providing training on software or application tools, program management tasks, and other specific services as detailed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
The contractor will be responsible for managing its employees and ensuring that no actions constitute personal services. The services shall not be used to perform any Inherently Governmental Functions.

Period of Performance
The NDES IV acquisition provides for a five-year ordering period. The contract will be awarded as an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a ceiling of $16.3M predominantly for O&M, with incidental R&D services. The task order funding will be provided by the specific program being supported.
