Air Force Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Instruction Support Services (AFRISS). Maxwell AFB, AL   2

Background
The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL is seeking to procure Associate Professor of Aerospace Studies (APAS) Instructors for four Regional Commands and 145 subordinate Detachments in support of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC).

This solicitation is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the Revolutionary Overhaul Subpart 12.202(b)(1). The solicitation number is F2XJB16062AW01, issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The contract will be awarded as a Firm-Fixed Price Award.

Work Details
The contractor will provide non-personal services by supplying 12 Associate Professors of Aerospace Studies (APAS) Instructors as specified in Attachment 1, Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Tasks include:
- Supporting the educational mission of the AFROTC program across four Regional Commands and their respective detachments.
- Ensuring instructors meet qualifications and standards outlined in the PWS, specifically paragraphs 1.4.1 to 1.4.1.24.
- Recruiting and providing qualified instructors capable of delivering aerospace studies curriculum effectively.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from June 21, 2026, to June 20, 2027.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations associated with the four Regional Commands and their subordinate Detachments.
