Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential sources capable of performing the effort described herein pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research and FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs. This is for planning purposes only.

Any information submitted by respondents to this Source Sought Notice is voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents should not construe this notice as commitment by the Air Force for any purpose and should refrain from providing proprietary information in response.

Background
The Air Force is seeking potential sources capable of providing Occupational Safety & Health (AFOSH) and Traffic Support Services as part of a planning process initiated by the 377 MSG/PKA at Kirtland Air Force Base.
This effort aims to enhance safety program management and support investigations and inspection activities related to occupational safety.
The contract is expected to result in a Firm-Fixed-Price agreement, with a focus on technical and analytical support for various safety activities.

Work Details
The contractor will perform the following tasks:
1. Analyze and create presentations, papers, and briefings to support Air Force Occupational Safety objectives.
2. Provide recommendations for the development of safety program management, mishap investigation, human factors, and motorcycle module updates for AFSAS personnel.
3. Assist the Air Force Safety Center in mining mishap data, communicating mishap statistics, lessons learned, and disseminating safety information to leadership and personnel across the Air Force.
4. Create interactive Adobe forms and manage content on SharePoint and multimedia websites.
5. Identify mishap trends and develop safety data products for AFSEC leaders.
6. Compare DAF safety mishap rates with those of outside agencies such as Navy, Army, NHTSA, etc.
7. Provide marketing and communications support by developing briefings, promotional materials, safety messages, articles, and educational materials consistent with AFSEC requirements.
8. Manage AFSEC Occupational Safety internal/external websites including Air Force SharePoint and DAF social media sites.
9. Write at least twelve articles per year related to occupational traffic safety and mishap prevention programs.
10. Support ongoing traffic and occupational safety activities, attend relevant meetings, access AFSAS database for reports, respond to time-critical taskers, provide solutions for identified gaps or deficiencies in safety practices.
