Background
The United States Air Force (USAF) manages outside the continental United States (OCONUS) installations and all applicable environmental laws and regulations. The United States Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) Environmental Directorate requires technical support for environmental programs at United States Forces Japan (USFJ) Air Bases to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and minimize the environmental impacts of USFJ activities. The contract establishes a cost-effective, time-efficient, and flexible capability to support the AFCEC program.

Work Details
The Contractor shall utilize best commercial practices to provide on-site environmental sampling and analytical processing of samples for organic, inorganic, and general chemistry laboratory services. This encompasses sample collection, shipment, receiving, storage, analysis and disposal, Quality Control (QC), and analytical reporting. The Contractor shall provide adequate professional supervision and quality control to assure the accuracy, quality, completeness, and progress of the required work.
The purpose of this contract is to achieve objectives in the area of environmental compliance at Kadena Air Base, Japan. Services include Air Emissions Monitoring for Military Family Housing.
