Air Compressor Travis AFB

Background
The 60th Contracting Squadron at Travis Air Force Base is seeking to establish a Firm Fixed Price contract for the provision and installation of a central air compressor. This requirement is essential for supporting the Advanced Hardware Training Devices (AHTDs) operations and maintenance, which are critical to the training of personnel on the KC-46 Maintenance Training System (MTS). The goal of this contract is to ensure reliable compressed air supply for training activities over a planned 50-year life span.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide and install one central air compressor with an air dryer/water separator that conforms to ASME Standard EA-4-2008 and California Administrative Code Title 8. The installation will take place in Room 108 of Building 167 at Travis AFB, serving as the central supply device for a multi-drop, on-demand compressed air system. The system must support standby, intermittent, and continuous compressed air use. Specific requirements include:

- Compressor equivalent to the 20 HP compressor used at McConnell AFB (MOB 1), providing up to 77 SCFM total at 175 PSI.
- Installation must accommodate feeding a network of air lines supplying seven drops: one each for three FDATs, one FCT, one EAPUT, one LGT, and one ART.
- Use of ¾ inch lines capable of supporting 10 SCFM or more at 125 PSI.
- Contractor responsible for removing and reinstalling T-bar tiles during installation.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will be established post-award with a planning meeting scheduled no later than 30 days after contract award.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Travis Air Force Base, specifically in Room 108 of Building 167.
