Background
The contract is issued by the 149 Fighter Wing at Lackland AFB, Texas. The mission of the agency involves ensuring that the necessary equipment meets operational needs while maintaining cost-effectiveness. The goal of this contract is to procure an air compressor system that is technically acceptable to the end user and offered at the lowest price, ensuring it meets customer expectations.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery and installation of an air compressor system. The specifications include:
- Equivalent or better than Champion Advantage Series HR10D-24, which is a 10 hp duplex air compressor package with a 460 volt 3 phase electric motor driven setup.
- The system must consist of 2 compressors and 2 motors mounted on a single 240-gallon horizontal air receiver tank.
- The quote must include materials necessary for installation such as tank anchors, tank service valve to existing plumbing, anti-vibration metal flexible hose, minor wiring to adapt to existing power outlet in the compressor room (no new electrical circuit), and plumbing adaptations from existing refrigerated air dryer plumbing to the new refrigerated air dryer.

Example components included in the package are:
- Duplex control box housing with 2 magnetic starters and overload switches
- Alternating relay with a 120 volt control circuit transformer
- Air cooled aftercoolers for pre-cooling compressed air
- Low oil shut off switches
- Automatic tank condensate drain
- Rubber tank mounting vibration isolator pads for concrete mounting
- Altec Air RAD-75 cfm refrigerated air dryer with filter kit.
