The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a Firm Fixed Price/Cost Plus Fixed Fee modification to contract N00019-19-D-0023 to Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD), 1151 East Hermans Road, Tucson, AZ 85756-9367, for continued AIM-9X Missile Sustainment and Integrated Logistics Support. These contract actions will procure Integrated Logistics Support and depot level repairs for the United States Government and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.
Supplies and services to be procured under this IDIQ contract include: depot level repairs, logistics support, sustainment engineering, software support, failure analysis, configuration management, technical data, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages management, training, field support, spares predictions, Ordnance Assessment and Reliability, and management of Government Property required to maintain all variants of the AIM-9X missiles for the U.S. Government and FMS customers. The AIM-9X Program is a joint United States Navy (USN), United States Air Force (USAF) Program with the Navy designated as the lead service.
NAVAIR intends to award this procurement sole source to Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD), 1151 East Hermans Road, Tucson, AZ 85756-9367, based on the authority provided in FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Sources or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. RMD is the only vendor who can perform this requirement without substantial delay or duplication of costs to the Government.
