The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking qualified and capable contractors to submit offers for an Air Handling Unit Replacement project located in Auburn, Washington. This procurement is being set aside for a small business under NAICS code 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, which has a small business size standard of $19.0 Million.

Estimated size of this project: Between $750,000 and $1,000,000.

Work included in project:

1) Replace indoor, semi-custom air handling units; hydronic piping; metal ducts; direct digital control points; circuit breakers, and feeders.

1) Add new variable-frenquency motor controllers.

Background
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing a Request for Offers (RFO) for the Air Handling Unit Replacement project at the Seattle Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) located in Auburn, Washington. This procurement is set aside for small businesses. The estimated project size ranges between $750,000 and $1,000,000.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1) Replacing indoor semi-custom air handling units; hydronic piping; metal ducts; direct digital control points; circuit breakers; and feeders.
2) Adding new variable-frequency motor controllers.
The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that their offer reflects all work and time required to accomplish this project.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 5 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and complete it within 180 calendar days.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Seattle ARTCC located at 3101 Auburn Way South, Auburn, WA 98092.
