Background
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) was established in 1989 as the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research. Its reauthorizing legislation renamed it as the lead Federal agency for enhancing the quality, appropriateness, and effectiveness of health services and access to such services. The Agency's mission is to produce evidence to make health care safer, more accessible, effective, affordable, and equitable.
AHRQ conducts and supports a broad base of scientific research and promotion of improvements in clinical and health systems practices, including disease prevention.

Work Details
The goal of the project is to maintain a Scientific Resource Center for the EPC Program. This center will have sufficient technical and methodologic expertise to manage and coordinate methodologic work among the EPCs. It will also manage the topic nomination, development and selection process; manage the peer review and associate editor process; develop accurate and useful data visualization; convene scientific meetings; convene and engage a stakeholder panel; and promote collaboration across the program.

Period of Performance
A cost-plus fixed fee contract is contemplated for a period of one year, with four one-year options. The total contract value for the base period is TBD.

Place of Performance
The in-person meeting shall be held at 5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD.
