Description

See attached Statement of Work (SOW). Solicitation will also include two option years for additional periods of service.

Background
This contract is for technical support, annual maintenance, and repair options for an Agilent 5800 inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer (ICP-OES) system used and maintained at Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport, WA. The ICP-OES system provides an analytical technique used for the detection of trace metals. The Code 1023 Analytical Chemistry Lab requires the ability to maintain State accreditation per Standard Method 3120B for trace metals analysis.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all management, labor, tools, parts, supplies, equipment, lodging, transportation, and other necessary items to perform full preventative maintenance (PM), service and/or repair service of the ICP-OES system and all accessories listed below.

The contractor shall follow procedures outlined by the original manufacturer when applicable.

The contractor shall use only new or refurbished like-new parts for any part of the system.

Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) new parts shall be used when available.

Refurbished like-new parts will be acceptable for any part of the system that activates, controls, monitors, or electrically powers the ICP-OES system only when new parts are not available.

Contractor service engineers shall be trained by the original instrument manufacturer and/or provide evidence of knowledge servicing an Agilent 5800 ICP-OES.

Place of Performance
The maintenance and any repairs shall be accomplished onsite at Building 206, Naval Base Kitsap (NBK), Keyport.
