The following post is a COMBO RFQ for the installation of a security system at Nellis AFB per the specifications within the PWS.

This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement.
A site visit is offered from 1230-1330 on 29 August 2023. Please complete the attached Base Access Form by including all visitor information then turning the form into tricia.hanson.3@us.af.mil and joseph.marchione@us.af.mil no later than Noon on Friday the 25th. Additional instructions shall be provided to those who provide notice of their intent to attend the site visit.

Background
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the Air Force Operational Test & Evaluation Center (AFOTEC) Contracting Office, Kirtland AFB, NM. The contract is for the installation of a security system at Nellis AFB per the specifications within the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The new system aims to allow for better control in safeguarding materials and personnel, improve security controls, and enhance client response time.

Work Details
The contractor shall deliver and install DSX Card Access and Cameras at building 881. Three cameras are to be installed, one at each door along with Viewing Monitors at four locations. A button release at the front desk to open the door to visitors. The contractor shall accomplish delivery, assembly, inspection, and removal of any waste and debris. The DSX Card Access equipment is required to work and match with the existing DSX system already in place.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall complete the delivery and installation of DSX Card Access and Cameras within 90 calendar days after contract award.
