AFJROTC CoDrone EDU (JROTC Edition) Competition Drones (Amendment 0001)

Background
The 42nd Contracting Squadron, located at Maxwell AFB, AL, is seeking to acquire CoDrone (JROTC Edition) competition drones for the Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (AFJROTC) as part of their mission to develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community.

This acquisition aims to enhance the educational experience by providing hands-on learning opportunities that are essential for recruiting and retaining students in the AFJROTC program.

Work Details
The procurement includes the following items outlined in CLIN 0001 – CLIN 4003:

- CoDrone EDU (JROTC Edition) Set of 10 Kits
- Minimum Quantity: 225 EA
- Maximum Quantity: 350 EA

- Competition Field Basics Kit
- Minimum Quantity: 201 EA
- Maximum Quantity: 350 EA

- Game Elements Kit
- Minimum Quantity: 160 EA
- Maximum Quantity: 350 EA

Each CoDrone EDU package includes:
- The ability to operate on at least 15 different frequencies for classroom use.
- Programmable sounds and lights based on sensor detection.
- Seven real-time sensors including accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, front range, bottom range, color sensor, and optical flow sensor.
- Compatibility with Blockly and Python programming languages.
- Smart Controller with a programmable LCD screen capable of reading real-time sensor data and fully programmable for custom applications.
- Aerial flipping capability and swarm capability.
- Flexible propeller guards and replaceable parts for maintenance.
- Registration for four JROTC Aerial Drone Competition current season entries.

Base Year: September 30, 2024 – September 29, 2025; with option years extending through September 29, 2028.

Place of Performance
Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama.
