AFDW A5 Wargaming Requirement RFI

Background
The solicitation is for a wargaming requirement issued by the Headquarters United States Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategy, Integration, and Requirements (AF/A5/7) under the Air Force Futures. The focus is on developing Air Force strategy and concepts, conducting strategic assessments through wargames and workshops, and achieving timely and effective operational capabilities required for tomorrow’s Airmen to fight and win. The Directorate for Integration and Innovation (AF/A5I) within AF Futures develops future multi-domain total-force design in order to implement the National Defense and Military Strategies, drive integration and capability planning across the Air Force, and identify prioritized ways to guide resourcing priorities that improve Air Force lethality and enhance the joint and coalition fight.

Work Details
The contract involves providing support for wargaming, analysis, and developing innovative approaches. The tasks include organizing and managing wargame development, planning, administration, and execution to achieve game objectives; recommending and implementing management decisions; contributing to wargame design, objectives, and analysis plans; managing data collection during wargame events; managing post-game analysis and drafting of wargame reports; providing surge support as directed; providing office space, supplies, computer equipment, access to military LAN services (unclassified), telephone and fax, electronic mail, LAN support, reproduction facilities; travel within the National Capital Region commuting vicinity; periodic travel both within and outside the CONUS for Task Order and AF Wargaming mission requirements; ensuring protection of Government classified information; obtaining security clearances for all employees working on the contract at the start of performance; facilitating intelligence support during Blue events; supporting development of Air/Integrated Tasking Orders (ATO/ITO); ensuring Tasking Orders are captured in appropriate wargaming systems; supporting coordination of AFF and wider USAF participation in Space and Cyber games as required.
