AFDW-11th Wing, Small Business (SB) Contractor Forum   3

Background
The Air Force District of Washington-11th Wing, Office of Small Business Programs (11WG/SB) will host a VIRTUAL Small Business Contractor Forum via Microsoft Teams conferencing platform. The objective of this Forum is to inform the SB Community about the benefits of the Air Force, Mentor-Protegee Program and enlighten the participants on the forecast of 11th Wing simplified acquisitions slated for procurement via Government Purchase Card (VISA), during the third quarter of this fiscal year (FY23).

Work Details
The forum aims to inform the small business community about the benefits of the Air Force, Mentor-Protegee Program, and provide insights into the forecast of 11th Wing simplified acquisitions scheduled for procurement via Government Purchase Card (VISA) in the third quarter of FY23. Contractor registration is mandatory for participation in this virtual event. Fifty firms will be accommodated with no more than two representatives per firm on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is initiated by emailing the 11th Wing, Small Business Office workflow address with each participant’s full name, official title, association with their respective firm, and contact information. Registration will be confirmed within 24 hours by the Small Business Specialist via email response to the contractor. Registration closes on 14 June 2023 at 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. Participants are required to forward a copy of their firm’s latest capability statement with their registration information to the SB Workflow email address provided.
Attendees will receive additional information, including the Microsoft Teams Link and conferencing details once registration closes. Contractors may have the opportunity to network with other contractors via chat within the conferencing platform.

The VIRTUAL Small Business Contractor Forum is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 15 June 2023 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
