Background
The AFD Visitor Center Remodel project is issued by the Aerial Fire Depot, located in Missoula, Montana. The goal of this contract is to remodel the Visitor Center to enhance its functionality and aesthetics, aligning with the agency's mission to provide effective services related to aerial firefighting operations.

Work Details
The scope of work for the AFD Visitor Center Remodel includes:

1. Deconstructing the fire lookout display and storing it at a designated location in Missoula.

2. Performing exterior landscaping, which involves installing an irrigation system, planting new vegetation, and removing existing plants.

3. Conducting a comprehensive building remodel that encompasses interior and exterior renovations, including remodeling bathrooms and the basement, removing and adding walls, updating lighting fixtures, improving accessibility features, and enhancing the façade along with an entry sign (optional item).

4. Executing all necessary electrical, mechanical, plumbing work, and any other related tasks associated with the building and site remodeling.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Aerial Fire Depot’s Visitor Center located at 5765 W. Broadway, Building E, near the Airport in Missoula, Montana.
