Aerial Brushkill

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing this contract for aerial brushkill services to control tree, brush, and aquatic plant growth. The goal is to effectively manage vegetation in specified areas while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations regarding herbicide application. The contractor must ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards during the application process.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and chemicals for the aerial application of herbicides. Key tasks include:

1. Furnishing herbicides and surfactants approved by the Corps of Engineers;
2. Ensuring all operations comply with applicable laws;
3. Exercising extreme care during transportation, storage, handling, mixing, and usage of herbicides;
4. Disposing of containers according to manufacturer guidelines;
5. Applying herbicides via helicopter or drone to achieve a minimum of 90% kill rate;
6. Conducting inspections through aerial videos and site visits to confirm effectiveness;
7. Respraying areas that do not meet the kill requirement at no additional cost;
8. Providing evidence of technical capability and past performance for evaluation.

Period of Performance
The work must be completed by October 25 or the first killing frost, with specific treatment dates determined by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in designated areas within Arkansas and Missouri, specifically in Dunklin, Pemiscot, New Madrid, and Stoddard counties.
