Description

OJP acquires system administration and technical personnel to support the OJP need to maintain their existing Physical Security System. This system is comprised of a Physical Access Control System (PACS), an Intrustion Detection System (IDS), and Video Surveillance, and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Systems.

Background
The Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs (OJP), located at 999 North Capitol Street, NE, Washington D.C., is seeking to acquire system administration and technical personnel to maintain their existing Physical Security System.

This system includes a Physical Access Control System (PACS), an Intrusion Detection System (IDS), and Video Surveillance/Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems. The facility is approximately 162,000 square feet and is rated as Facility Security Level (FSL) III under DHS guidelines. The OJP aims to enhance security standards and address vulnerabilities in enterprise applications and networks, in compliance with various governmental mandates.

Work Details
The contractor will provide repair and preventive maintenance services for the OJP AEGIS security systems, which include PACS, CCTV, IDS, and Visitor Management Systems. Key tasks include:

- Timely troubleshooting and repair of issues;
- Maintaining priority replacement parts onsite;
- Being an authorized vendor for Software House and American Dynamics products;
- Performing small-scale equipment installations;
- Assisting with large-scale installations;
- Providing detailed analysis on equipment status;
- Responding to trouble calls within two hours;
- Maintaining a computerized problem tracking system;
- Updating system documentation;
- Providing training for end-users; and
- Ensuring compliance with security measures.

The contractor must also maintain an up-to-date inventory of all components and provide semi-annual training on current systems.

Period of Performance
The initial period of performance will commence upon the award of the task order and extend through September 30, 2025, with options for up to four additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the OJP facility located at 999 North Capitol Street, NE, Washington D.C.
