AEGIS Modernization MK99 Fire Control System (FCS)   2

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to conduct other than full and open competition toplace an order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-19-G-5107 to Raytheon Integrated DefenseSystems (IDS) located in Marlborough, Massachusetts.

The awarded order will satisfy the following AEGIS Modernization requirements. Including equipment changes and studies for the AEGIST Fire Control System MK 99, Solid State Switch Assembly Mod Kits and ORDALT Installation and Checkout Spares, Kill Assessment System Dry Air ORDALT Forward-Fit Kits and Back-Fit Kits, Engineering Services, and Hobart Waveguide.

The order will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Raytheon IDS is the only qualified source that possesses the in-depth technical expertise, knowledge, resources, and understanding of the AN/SPY-1 Transmitter group necessary to satisfy the Government's requirements within the scope of the BOA and within the required schedule.
