Description

The AEGIS F&S contract with LM RMS supports the engineering, software development and in-service maintenance, integration, logistics and fielding support for AEGIS combat system configurations already delivered or in the process of being delivered to the United States Navy (USN) fleet. This effort procured additional hours and ceiling, for USN tasking only. This procurement is required due to the USN F&S base year ceiling being expended faster than originally planned.

This is a sole source procurement in accordance with J&A 51,206, approved September 2022. LM RMS is the only responsible source capable of meeting the Government's requirements without causing unacceptable schedule delays and substantial duplication of costs that is not expected to be recovered through competition.
