Description

PURPOSE: The purpose of the sources sought is to identify available authorized businesses to provide the sole source/brand name requirement for an Advantor Fire Department Entry Access System to include installation.

This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. Pricing information is not being requested at this time. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government.

REQUIREMENT: This notice is issued by the U.S. Air Force, 92d Contracting Squadron, Fairchild AFB, WA. This sources sought is seeking to identify responsible potential sources to furnish and install an Advantor Fire Department Entry Access System.

Advantor Fire Department Entry Access System must meet the specifications in accordance with the attached Statement of Work and Salient Characteristics.

ANTICIPATED NAICS/PSC: This requirement falls under the NAICS Code of 334290, Other Communication Equipment Manufacturing and PSC 6350 Miscellaneous Alarm, Signal, and Security Detection Systems

SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION: All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties will be required to respond to the resultant solicitation separately from their response to this sources sought notice. A responsible potential sources shall have registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). The response should be no more than five pages providing the following information:

  • Specifications of the Advantor Fire Department Entry Access System
  • Business name, address, CAGE code
  • Size and socioeconomic classification based on NAICS size standard
  • If claiming a specific small business category, provide supporting documentation
  • Point of contact including email and phone number

Background
The U.S. Air Force, specifically the 92d Contracting Squadron at Fairchild AFB, WA, is seeking to identify authorized businesses capable of providing and installing an Advantor Fire Department Entry Access System.
This system is essential for ensuring the safety and security of fire personnel and assets at Fairchild Air Force Base, where Advantor access control systems are already in use.

Work Details
The contract involves the installation of an Advantor Access Control System (ACS) at Building 3, which includes:
- Installation of ACS for 10 doors controlled by magnetic locks, electric strikes, Passive Infrared Request for Exits (REX), and push buttons.
- All readers must be Common Access Card (CAC) compliant Level II.
- The contractor will provide all necessary equipment including Infraguard Panels, Expansion panels, low voltage cabling, and perform panel terminations.
- Installation must comply with federal, state, local laws and regulations as well as commercial standards.
- The contractor is responsible for providing a standalone SFX/i badging station computer with peripherals (monitor, mouse, keyboard), a laser printer, uninterrupted power supply, and one badge printer located in Building 3, Room 139.
- The contractor will also provide 200 proximity cards with site code 65.
- All installation activities must be coordinated with the Designated Government Point of Contact to minimize disruption to existing services.
