Advanced Vibration and Impact Testing for Aircrew Resilience (AVITAR)

DCS Corporation, 6909 Metro Park Dr STE 500 Alexandria, VA, has been awarded a 14,999,680.83 Cost Plus Fixed-Fee contract for Advanced Vibration and Impact Testing for Aircrew Resilience (AVITAR) . This contract's objective is to conduct aerospace physiology and human performance research in a wide range of areas including aircrew protection, biodynamics, injury susceptibility, and oxygen systems related technologies. The work is expected to be complete by 22 September 2028. This award is the result of a competitive white paper submitted under Open Advanced Research Announcement (ARA) FA2384-24-S-2335. Fiscal Year 2025 3600 Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) funds in the amount of $1,302,336.16 are obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Research Laboratory Wright Research Site (AFRL/RAKHA), Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contracting activity.
