Advanced Bore Coating (ABC) – Smooth Bore at the Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet NY.

Background
This is a sole source procurement with VRC Metal Systems for the provision of services to support the Advanced Bore Coating (ABC) applications for one gun barrel at the Watervliet Arsenal. The Watervliet Arsenal is part of the U.S. Army and focuses on manufacturing and maintaining artillery systems.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the effective application of advanced coating technologies to enhance the performance and longevity of military equipment.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide Advanced Bore Coating (ABC) applications on the inside of smooth bore gun barrels for 7 tubes at the Watervliet Arsenal, NY. The services include:
- Pricing for coating per gun barrel.
- Pricing for entrance criteria and document preparation.
- Pricing for maintenance services.
- A plan for coating tubes with Virgin Helium, including a credit back to the Government if coated with recycled Helium.

Additionally, the Service Contract Labor Standards Wage Determination No. 2015-4143 Latest Revision applies and is incorporated by reference.
