Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile (AARGM) Extended Range (ER) Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) I & II   2

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract, N00019-21-C-0044, to Alliant Techsystems Operations, LLC (a wholly owned subsidiary of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS)), for Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Lot 1 of the Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile Extended Range (AARGM-ER), and established an option for LRIP Lot 2. This procurement is for the production and delivery of AGM-88G AARGM-ER All-Up-Rounds (AURs), AGM-88G AARGM-ER Captive Air Training Missiles (CATMs), initial spares, support equipment, Special Test Equipment (STE), and supplies and services necessary for their manufacture.

This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements per Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) No. 20-0470, approved by the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research Development and Acquisition (ASN(RDA)) on 17 December 2020 redacted version attached to this announcement.
