Background
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is a federal agency under the Department of Justice (DOJ) with approximately 5,000 employees. ATF enforces federal laws and regulations related to alcohol, tobacco, firearms, explosives, and arson. The agency aims to suppress crime and violence through enforcement and community outreach, provide effective industry regulations, support law enforcement agencies, and offer innovative training programs.

The ATF's Laboratory Services Division (LS) is part of the Office of Science and Technology (OST) and includes multiple laboratories across various locations. This contract is intended to procure administrative and technical support personnel necessary for LS operations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide qualified personnel to perform non-personal administrative and technical support services. Key tasks include:
1. Hiring practices to ensure qualified candidates are identified, screened, placed, monitored, trained, and retained.
2. Providing personnel with the necessary skills and experience for administrative support roles including Administrative Assistants and General Clerks.
3. Performing additional tasking as needed based on LS workload.
4. Ensuring all personnel can legally work in the U.S.
5. Maintaining records associated with personal protective equipment (PPE) and heavy equipment used in laboratory operations.
6. Providing field support for fire tests as required.
7. Conducting safety training for all personnel involved in laboratory operations.
8. Submitting timely monthly status reports and trip reports as per contract requirements.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is from January 14, 2026 to January 7, 2027, including a transition period from January 14 to February 7, 2026.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance will be at ATF NLC located at 6000 Ammendale Road - Beltsville, MD 20705-1250. Additional locations may include Atlanta, GA and Wichita, KS.
