This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commericial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13, Simplified Procedures for Commercial Products and Commercial Services as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.

The contractor shall provide one (1) Administrative Assistant to support the task detailed in the SOW, to support for the Director and Deputy Director, Director's Action Group. This position is for one (1) FTE. The contractor shall support the coordination of administrative activities IAW the SOW as attached to this posting. The contractor shall provide administrative support services to ensure efficient office operations and management. The contractor shall perform the requested task and provide the necessary timely assistance to meet emergent requirements as requested by properly designated authority.

Background
The Naval History and Heritage Command (NHHC) at the Washington Navy Yard (WNY) is responsible for preserving, analyzing, and disseminating U.S. Naval history and heritage. NHHC's mission includes collecting and protecting artifacts, advancing knowledge through research and interpretation, and reminding the public of the importance of a strong Navy and Marine Corps. The command requires administrative support services to facilitate its operations effectively.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide one (1) Administrative Assistant to support the Director and Deputy Director of the Director’s Action Group (DAG). The tasks include:

1. Administrative Support: Handling clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning, and creating professional documents.

2. Scheduling and Coordination: Managing schedules, arranging meetings, appointments, and conference calls.

3. Communication: Streamlining communication within the command.

4. Office Management: Monitoring office supplies and coordinating maintenance for office equipment.

5. Event and Meeting Support: Creating meeting agendas, recording minutes, and organizing events.

6. Financial Assistance: Assisting in budget preparation and monitoring expenses.

7. Special Projects: Conducting research and analysis for special projects as assigned by the Executive Team.

Base Year: March 17, 2025 to February 28, 2026; Option Year 1: March 1, 2026 to February 29, 2027.
