Background
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is a law-enforcement agency in the United States’ (U.S.’) Department of Justice (DOJ) that protects its communities from violent criminals, criminal organizations, the illegal use and trafficking of firearms, the illegal use and storage of explosives, acts of arson and bombings, acts of terrorism, and the illegal diversion of alcohol and tobacco products. ATF partners with communities, industries, law-enforcement, and public-safety agencies to safeguard the public it serves through information sharing, training, research, and use of technology.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide administrative support services for various divisions within ATF including Personnel Security Division (PSD), Physical Security Programs Branch (PSPB), and the National Academy. The services include providing personnel for different positions such as Administrative Assistant, Secretary III, Word Processor III, Management Analyst, Data Analyst, Operations Analyst, On-Site Supervisor, SharePoint Developer, Senior Investigative Program Manager, Internal Communications Specialist among others. The contractor is also responsible for conducting background investigations on prospective ATF employees and non-ATF personnel and managing the personnel security program. The contract includes a transition period from 08/03/2022 to 09/02/2022 followed by a period of performance from 09/03/2022 to 09/02/2027.
