Administrative, Logistical, Custodial and Facility Support Services for the Vaccine Research Center   3

Background
The National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is seeking administrative, logistical, custodial, and facility support services for the Vaccine Research Center (VRC). The VRC is dedicated to improving global human health through vaccine development for diseases such as HIV, bioterrorism agents, emerging infectious diseases, and pandemic influenza. The services will support the NVITAL (Vaccine Immunology Program) and the VPPL (Vaccine Production Program Laboratory), which are off-campus laboratories with specialty space requirements for large-scale bioproduction suites. This project is a renewal of the ongoing contract with Innovative Consulting & Management Services, LLC (ICMS) named as the incumbent.

Work Details
The contractor will provide facility management and support personnel, maintain leased space, establish and maintain a Facilities Management and Oversight Plan, provide custodial services for all leased areas, implement a Quality Control Plan, manage bulk gas tanks, provide front desk services at the entrance lobby, and increase the required Level of Effort by approximately 1.625 FTEs for a specific period. The contractor will also be responsible for on-site maintenance and management of facility utilities to ensure continuity of operations for the laboratory in case of unforeseen interruptions.

Period of Performance
The period of performance of the existing contract will be extended by 6 months with an anticipated increase in FTEs from September 1, 2023 through February 29, 2024.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at 9 West Watkins Mill Road, Gaithersburg MD.
