Additively Manufactured Combustion Chamber with GRCop-42

This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Additively Manufactured Combustion Chambers using GRCop-42 material.

This procurement is being set-aside for Small Businesses only.

The NAICS Code and Standard Size for this procurement is 332117/500 respectively.

All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.

Responsible sources that shall require access to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) regulated data of models/drawings, to provide a quote. Please see the attached document titled "Requested Company Information".

However any award from this RFQ shall require the potential vendor to be certified within the System for Awards Management (SAM) and completion of the Representations and Certifications in the SAM System prior to award at www.sam.gov.

Delivery shall be FOB Destination to MSFC, Central Receiving, Bldg. 4631, MSFC, AL 35812.

Interested organizations may submit their offers to this effort in writing to Steven S. Shaw at steven.s.shaw@nasa.gov not later than 4:30PM CST on March 8, 2019. It must include solicitation number, FOB Destination shipping terms, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration, taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial items, and be signed by an authorized company representative.

Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (Oct 2018), Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference.

FAR 52.212-4 (Oct 2018), Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items is applicable.

FAR 52.212-5 (Jan 2019) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items is applicable and are attached to this solicitation.

Selection and award shall be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer.

Technical acceptability shall be determined by review of information submitted by the offeror which must provide a description in sufficient detail to show that the product offered meets the Government's requirement.

Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
