Background
This procurement is initiated by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) under the Department of the Treasury, aimed at acquiring an Additive Manufacturing System. The goal is to enhance manufacturing capabilities while ensuring compliance with various safety and operational standards. Work Details
The contract involves the acquisition of an Additive Manufacturing System along with four one-year extended warranty options. Specific requirements include:
- Delivery of equipment that meets all current U.S. commercial codes and industrial standards for manufacturing high-quality industrial equipment.
- Compliance with National Electric Code (NEC) standards and other applicable regulations from OSHA, EPA, and local government entities.
- Provision of three copies of a detailed product manual, service and maintenance schedule, and a spare parts listing in MS-Excel format including manufacturer’s part numbers, descriptions, functions, lead times for delivery, estimated mean time for failure/maintenance, recommended quantities, and unit prices.

Bidder Requirements
