Addition of Two (2) CH-53K Unfunded Priority List (UPL) Aircraft To Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Lot 6.

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Fixed-Price-Incentive-Firm-Target (FPIF) contract modification (N00019-20-C-0047-P00010) to the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, A Lockheed Martin Company for the procurement of two (2) CH-53K Unfunded Priority List (UPL) aircraft, which were added to Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Lot 6. The modification was awarded to the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation for $185,694,050.

This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.
