Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center (CLE VAMC) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Johnson & Johnson/DePuy Synthes, for the procurement of Actis Core Trays. This action is justified under 13.106(b)(1)(i), which allows for solicitation from a single source when only one source is reasonably available.

The goal of this contract is to acquire proprietary instruments necessary for total hip arthroplasty procedures performed by the Cleveland VA Medical Center Surgery Department.
