Acquisition of a Krios G4 Microscope Maintenance Plan   2

Background
The National Institutes of Health, National Institutes of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) is seeking a Krios G4 Microscope Maintenance Plan. The NIDDK supports medical research and research training on diabetes, endocrine and metabolic diseases, digestive diseases, nutritional disorders, obesity, kidney, urologic, and hematologic diseases. The Multi Institute Cryo-EM Facility (MICEF) at NIDDK requires the maintenance plan for the Krios G4 microscope located on the NIH Bethesda Main Campus in Building 13, Room G333.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide a preventative maintenance plan for the Krios G4 microscope. This includes four-hour targeted telephone support, unlimited labor hours including travel time and expenses, software upgrades, replacement FIG tip (for applicable products), annual preventative maintenance service, certified manufacturer spare parts. The contractor shall also provide a qualified service engineer to perform maintenance on the microscope with equipment and parts at their current location. Additionally, they should respond within 48 hours upon government submission of a service request and provide remote application support when needed due to issues with the instrument.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from 4/3/2024 to 4/2/2025 with option periods extending up to 4/2/2029.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the NIH Bethesda Main Campus in Building 13, Room G333.
