Acid and Bi-Carbonate supply - USMCFP Springfield   3

Background
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office (FAO), located in Grand Prairie, Texas, is seeking to award a contract for the supply of Acid and Bicarbonate Concentrate to the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners (USMCFP) in Springfield, Missouri. This contract aims to ensure a consistent supply of essential medical products necessary for the facility's operations. The previous contract with DIASOL, Inc. expired on March 31, 2025, and this solicitation is unrestricted.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following supplies:

1. **2K+ Acid**: 800 drums (55-gallon each) with specifications including Sodium 100 mEq/L, Potassium 2.0 mEq/L, Calcium 2.5 mEq/L, Magnesium 1.0 mEq/L, Acetic Acid 4.0 mEq/L, Chloride 105.5 mEq/L, Dextrose 100 mg/dL.

2. **3K+ Acid**: 150 drums (55-gallon each) with specifications including Sodium 100 mEq/L, Potassium 3.0 mEq/L, Calcium 2.5 mEq/L, Magnesium 1.0 mEq/L, Acetic Acid 4.0 mEq/L, Chloride 106.5 mEq/L, Dextrose 100 mg/dL.

3. **Bicarbonate Concentrate**: Approximately 3,600 bags (7.8 kg/bag) with ionic composition of Sodium 37mEq/L and Bicarbonate 37mEq/L; chemical composition includes Sodium bicarbonate USP.

The contract includes a base year and four optional renewal years with deliveries expected monthly.

Period of Performance
Base Year: Effective Date of Award (EDOA) through 12 months from EDOA; Option Year 1: 13 months from EDOA through 24 months from EDOA; Option Year 2: 25 months from EDOA through 36 months from EDOA; Option Year 3: 37 months from EDOA through 48 months from EDOA; Option Year 4: 49 months from EDOA through 60 months from EDOA.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to USMCFP Springfield located at 1900 West Sunshine Street, Springfield, MO 65807-2240.
