Access Control System Door Locks

Background
The contract is issued by the government for the replacement of access control system door locks. The goal is to ensure that the new locks integrate seamlessly with the existing Best WiQ Access Management Software, enhancing security measures within designated buildings. This initiative aligns with the agency's mission to maintain physical security and efficient access control.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:

1. Replace and upgrade exterior and interior access control locks while ensuring integration into the existing Best WiQ Access Management Software.

2. Remove existing locksets and install contractor-procured locksets, activating them on the current access control system.

3. Ensure that replaced locksets integrate into the wireless access control system, allowing limited access to designated interior rooms and controlled access from outside buildings.

4. Provide all necessary hardware and software licensing for the operation of the access control system, ensuring compliance with GSA Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 201 Approved Products List at installation.

5. Seamlessly integrate existing employee credentials (keypad codes, CAC cards, PIV cards) with the new system without loss of functionality.

6. Replace/upgrade a total of 120 access control keypad/reader door locking mechanisms across thirteen specified buildings (600-610, 613, and 659).

7. Maintain reliable two-way communication between MICC Headquarters buildings and associated systems.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at specified buildings within the MICC Headquarters campus.
