Background
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is responsible for providing secure communications and information technology support to the Department of Defense and other federal agencies. This contract aims to enhance physical security and access management at DISA's Computing Data Center locations, specifically in San Antonio, TX.

The services are integral to maintaining the security of DISA's critical facilities and resources as part of the DISA EcoSystem.

Work Details
The contractor will provide armed security access control support, including 15 full-time equivalent personnel with Secret security clearances, operating 24/7. Responsibilities include:
1. Visitor Access Management: Verify identities, confirm documentation completeness, record CAC information, and perform escort duties for non-cleared visitors.
2. Facility Physical Security Checks: Ensure doors and gates are secured, monitor administrative areas for classified document security, report discrepancies, and conduct weekly inspections of concealed areas.
3. Access Control System (ACS) and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Systems: Operate and monitor these systems, verify operational status, ensure functionality of all components, and report failures.
4. Security Containers: Inspect controls and locks on security containers, document findings for auditing purposes, and maintain secure space lock combinations.
