Acadia National Park - Portable Toilet Services

Background
The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to provide portable toilet services at Acadia National Park. The goal of this contract is to ensure that visitors have access to clean and accessible restroom facilities in two key locations within the park, enhancing visitor experience and maintaining park standards.

Work Details
The contractor will supply, install, maintain, and service portable toilet units at two designated locations: Cadillac Mountain Summit and Sand Beach. Specific requirements include:
- Cadillac Mountain Summit: Supply and install 10 portable toilet units, with 2 units being universally accessible and compliant with accessibility guidelines.
- Sand Beach: Supply and install 16 portable toilet units, with 4 units being universally accessible and compliant with accessibility guidelines.
The vendor is responsible for performing pumping and cleaning services for all units at both locations twice per week. All waste must be removed in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Each service visit must include pumping, cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking of necessary supplies. The contractor must ensure timely delivery and installation of all units while minimizing disruption to park visitors. Additionally, the contractor is required to maintain the units in good working order and promptly address any issues or complaints reported by the park's representative.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and continue through October 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
Acadia National Park, specifically at Cadillac Mountain Summit and Sand Beach.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet the Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA) requirement. They should have experience in providing similar services, possess necessary licenses for waste management, ensure compliance with accessibility guidelines for the portable toilets provided, and have qualified personnel to perform maintenance tasks.
