SUBJECT: United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) Athletic and Academic Custodial
Site Visit
1. This letter is FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY to update offerors regarding solicitation, FA700023R0006, pertaining to the USAFA Athletic and Academic Custodial Site Visit.
2. The organized one-day pre-proposal conference and site visit tentatively scheduled for 12 October 2023 has been rescheduled to 19 October 2023.
3. All requesting participants should have information to 10 CON by 3 October 2023. Academic and Athletic Custodial Solicitation will be posted prior to Site Visit on sam.gov.
4. DO NOT SUBMIT comments at this time.
5. This notice does not constitute a request for proposal and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose.

Background
The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) is seeking custodial services for the Academic and Athletic facilities. The contract is being issued by the 10th Contracting Squadron. The goal of the contract is to ensure that all facilities are maintained in a clean, neat, and professional condition to provide a satisfactory appearance.

Work Details
The Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines detailed cleaning services required for various areas including facility cleaning, restroom and locker room cleaning, periodic cleaning services, special cleaning requirements, contractor provided equipment and supplies, trash compactors, recyclables collection and disposal, institutional events support, internal direct mission support, urgent and as required cleaning services, Falcon Stadium requirements, and more.
The PWS also includes specific frequencies for each type of service and detailed instructions for each task.
