AC-9 Life Raft

THIS IS A SINGLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The 45th Contracting Squadron at Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB) has a sole source requirement for AC-9 Life Rafts with a delivery date of 32 weeks from date of award. The description of the life raft is listed below. This is a single source for AC-9 Life Rafts in accordance with (IAW) FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). As required IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15), Air Cruisers Company, LLC is the only source capable of fulfilling the government's requirement for AC-9 life rafts. Per USAF Safe to Fly for AC-9 Life Raft letter granting Tech Standard Order (TSO) - C70a authorization by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and that Air Cruisers Company is the sole manufacturer of the AC-9 Life Raft. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336612 Boat Building.

As required IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government may consider any responses from capable sources received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/PKBB has determined that Air Cruisers Company, LLC is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
