Description

Military Sealift Command (MSC) awarded a Firm Fixed Price services contract to American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), to inclue a one-year base period and (4) four one-year option periods, on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-5(a)(2)(i) Authorized by Statute. Per 46 U.S.C. 3316, the Government is directed to recognize ABS as its sole agent in classifying vessels owned by the United States and in addressing matters to classification.
