Abiquiu Park Attendant B

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is issuing this solicitation for Park Attendant services at the Riana Campground located at Abiquiu Lake, approximately 30 miles north of Espanola, NM.

The mission of this contract is to provide a welcoming, safe, and well-maintained recreational environment for visitors while ensuring appropriate access and usage limitations. The contractor will be responsible for staffing the entry gate and providing general customer support services throughout the campground during the recreational season.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, fuel, transportation, tools, and supplies necessary to provide Park Attendant Services as per the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Specific tasks include:
1. Provide information and assistance to customers.
2. Conduct inspection tours of the park and its facilities.
3. Control visitor access to the park; open and close gates.
4. Monitor visitor compliance with visitor and quiet hours.
5. Issue user permits and post reservation signs.
6. Register campers and collect/remit user fees utilizing the Recreation.gov/Recreation One Stop (R1S) system.
7. Maintain cleanliness of non-public areas of the gatehouse and ensure access restrictions are enforced as appropriate.

Period of Performance
Base Year: April 10, 2025 – October 15, 2025; Option Year 1: April 13, 2026 - October 15, 2026; Option Year 2: April 13, 2027 - October 15, 2027; Option Year 3: April 13, 2028 - October 15, 2028; Option Year 4: April 12, 2029 - October 15, 2029.

Place of Performance
Riana Campground at Abiquiu Lake, approximately 30 miles north of Espanola and 8 miles north of the town of Abiquiu, NM.
