Abiquiu Park Attendant A

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is issuing a non-personal services contract for Park Attendant services at the Abiquiu Lake Riana Campground, located approximately 30 miles north of Espanola, NM. The campground features 65 campsites, two shower buildings, a dump station, five group shelters, and two volunteer sites.

The goal of this contract is to provide a welcoming and safe recreational environment for visitors while ensuring proper access and usage limitations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform Park Attendant services at the campground. Specific duties include:

- Providing information and assistance to customers;
- Conducting inspection tours of the park;
- Controlling visitor access;
- Opening and closing gates;
- Monitoring compliance with visitor hours;
- Issuing user permits;
- Posting reservation signs;
- Registering campers;
- Collecting/remitting user fees using the Recreation.gov/Recreation One Stop (R1S) system.

The contractor must maintain cleanliness in non-public areas of the gatehouse and ensure that access is restricted appropriately. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining a neat appearance and identifying themselves as contractors during interactions with the public.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over one base year of 6.5 months from April 13 to October 15, with four option years also lasting 6.5 months each.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Riana Campground at Abiquiu Lake in New Mexico.
