Aberdeen Plant Material Center (PMC) Removal and Replacement of Two (2) HVAC Systems   3

Background
The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is issuing this solicitation for the removal and replacement of two HVAC systems at the Aberdeen Plant Material Center (PMC) in Idaho. The goal of this contract is to ensure efficient climate control within the PMC office building, aligning with the agency's mission to provide quality services and support for natural resource conservation.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items necessary for the removal and replacement of two existing HVAC units from the roof of the PMC office building. The work includes:

1. Complete cleanup and disposal of garbage and old materials, excluding the current HVAC units being replaced.
2. Installation of two new heat pump/gas backup hybrid rooftop units (one 7.5 ton and one 10 ton).
3. Connection of electric and gas to existing lines.
4. Connection of electrical control wiring to existing programmable thermostats with battery backups.
5. Testing of the system for proper operation after installation.

The current HVAC units will be carefully disconnected and removed for potential reuse elsewhere, then lowered to ground level, set on pallets, and strapped for relocation as needed.
