Description

Provide Abbott RALS Software Licensing to Evans Army Community Hospital, Pathology Department.

Background
The Evans Army Community Hospital (EACH) is seeking to enhance its Point of Care Testing (POCT) program through the provision of Abbott RALS Software Licensing.

The POCT office within the Department of Pathology aims to deliver accurate and timely laboratory results at the patient's bedside, managing 30 testing locations and 77 analyzers. The contract's goal is to support an open platform data management system that ensures compliance with Joint Commission standards and improves operational efficiency.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, software, and non-personal services for the POCT program. Key tasks include:
- Providing a RALS device module license and a total solution system for managing instrument data, quality control (QC), linearity, operator certifications, and device configurations for various analyzers including i-STAT, Nova Statstrip, Clinitek, Sofia, and AccuCheck.
- Offering 24/7 telephone support and remote system support for training and troubleshooting.
- Ensuring updates to RALS and/or software modules within 14 days of availability.
- Supporting all Abbott-supplied components with repair or replacement services.
- Implementing networking security standards across equipment.
- Managing inventory with tracking of lot numbers and expiration dates.
- Generating monthly reports on workload and QC data.
- Directly uploading patient results into electronic medical records using scripted interfaces.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is set for 12 months starting from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027, with options for four additional years extending through March 31, 2031.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Evans Army Community Hospital located in Fort Carson, Colorado.
