Background
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), specifically the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Study Coordinating Center for the Lung Health Cohort. The goal of this contract is to support research initiatives aimed at improving lung health through comprehensive data collection and analysis.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary services, qualified personnel, materials, equipment, and facilities to perform the tasks outlined in the Statement of Work. Key responsibilities include:

1. Preparation and submission of Technical Progress Reports that detail activities undertaken during reporting periods and planned activities for future periods. Reports must comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

2. Submission of a summary report detailing salient results achieved during the contract period.

3. Annual Technical Progress Reports that include information on the inclusion of women and members of racial and/or ethnic minority groups in clinical studies.

4. Compliance with NIH policies regarding data sharing, including genomic data sharing policies.

5. Adherence to NIH's Public Access Policy by submitting Author Accepted Manuscripts to PubMed Central upon acceptance for publication.

6. Ensuring all deliverables are packaged, marked, and shipped according to government specifications.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be from March 01, 2027, through February 28, 2033.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily be performed at the National Institutes of Health located in Bethesda, Maryland.
