STREAMS IV
Background
The STREAMS IV contract is issued by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to support the development and evaluation of technologies, processes, and tools aimed at preventing or reducing pollution of air, land, and water, and restoring ecosystems.

The contract is managed by the Contracts Branch in the Office of Research Management, Extramural Management Division.

Work Details
The contractor will perform a variety of tasks including proof-of-concept, laboratory-scale, and bench-scale experiments; treatability studies and pilot-scale investigations; and field-scale evaluations.

Tasks involve assessing facility suitability, preparing design documents, fabricating test apparatuses, implementing sampling and analysis of process streams, documenting process performance, maintaining detailed logs of operations, and preparing assessments for technology readiness.

The contractor may also develop computer-oriented tools such as software models and decision-support tools.
