Recompete of Contract 68HERC20D0018 - RTP On-Site   4

Background
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is issuing this solicitation for the Recompete of Contract 68HERC20D0018, which focuses on providing on-site research support at the Research Triangle Park (RTP).

The mission of the EPA is to protect human health and the environment, and this contract aims to enhance their capabilities in conducting research and development activities. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the EPA has access to necessary personnel, materials, equipment, and services to effectively carry out its research objectives.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide necessary personnel, material, equipment, services, and facilities to perform the Performance Work Statement (PWS) included in Attachment 1. Work will be ordered against the PWS through issuance of Task Orders. Specific tasks include:
1. Information Resources Management (IRM) services including planning, budgeting, organizing, directing, training, promoting, controlling, and managing activities associated with information collection and dissemination.
2. Acquisition or modification of computer programs or automated databases for EPA use.
3. Analysis of requirements for computer programs or databases.
4. Providing access to data communications and electronic messaging services.
5. Compliance with Section 508 requirements for accessibility.
6. Preparation and delivery of reports including plans, evaluations, studies, analyses, and manuals as specified in Attachment 2.

Period of Performance
The ordering period under this contract shall be from the effective date of award through a duration of five years.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily be performed at the Office of Research and Development located at 109 T.W. Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park NC 27711.
