Background
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking on-site technical support for the Office of Research and Development (ORD), specifically for the Pacific Coastal Solutions Branch (PCSB) located in Newport and Corvallis, Oregon. This contract aims to enhance research capabilities related to aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, aligning with the agency's mission to protect human health and the environment.

The anticipated contract will be a commercial services, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract with a maximum ordering ceiling of approximately $10 million over a five-year period.

Work Details
The VENDOR will perform various tasks including:
- organizing field data, metadata, literature, and other information to calibrate models;
- analyzing environmental datasets using univariate and multivariate techniques;
- conducting synthesis and integration of environmental data;
- supporting research on ecosystem indicators;
- developing methods for prioritizing ecosystems for restoration;
- providing technical support for information transfer activities;
- preparing draft technical documents and reports;
- facilitating seminars and workshops;
- ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs);
- maintaining an employee occupational safety, health, and environmental management program;
- managing hazardous waste;
- adhering to security requirements for on-site personnel.

The work will primarily take place at the Pacific Coastal Solutions Branch in Newport and Corvallis, Oregon.
