Description

Construct a laboratory scale skid consisting of a solid oxide co-electrolysis system capable of production of synthesis gas from CO2 and H2O and a Fischer Tropsch (FT) reactor system. The completed skid will be capable of production of at least 100 ml of FT liquids per day using inputs of CO2, H2O, and electricity. The system will be used to evaluate various catalysts and compare solid oxide co-electrolysis with previous work done with reverse water gas shift to produce syngas.
