Background
The Jackson Heart Study (JHS) Training and Education Center Renewal is being issued by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) under the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The mission of the NIH is to enhance health, lengthen life, and reduce illness and disability. The goal of this contract is to renew the Training and Education Center for the Jackson Heart Study, which focuses on cardiovascular health in African American populations.

Work Details
The Contractor shall independently furnish all necessary services, qualified personnel, materials, equipment, and facilities to perform the Statement of Work. Key tasks include:

1. Reporting Requirements: All reports must be submitted electronically and comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

2. Technical Progress Reports: Regularly recurring reports detailing activities undertaken during reporting periods are required.

3. Assessment and Authorization: The Contractor must ensure their information system meets contract requirements for data protection.

4. Deliverables: Satisfactory performance will be deemed upon completion of work described in the Statement of Work and acceptance by the authorized representative.

5. Compliance with NIH policies regarding reproducibility, data sharing, and financial conflict of interest reporting is mandatory.

The period of performance for this contract is from August 13, 2025 to August 12, 2035.
